This video shares the three principles of identification with Dharma Masters who apply and do not apply to the teachings of Buddha. It also explains the relationship between Punya (Gong de) and the purification of karmic effects (Jing ye). <br>
<br>
First, Dharma Masters who apply to the teachings of Buddha would not ask a considerable amount of money for helping transform karmic influences. Second, Dharma Masters who apply to the teachings of Buddha can share their learning from Buddhist discourses, their practice based on Buddha’s teachings and their experience about how to transform their karmic influences to achieve a more spiritually purified state. Last, Dharma Master who apply to the teachings of Buddha abide by moral and ethical principles in society. <br>

The continuous actions for purifying the karmic effects results in the accumulation of Punya (Gong de). Punya refers to the collection of (1) hearing the Dharma and studying the Buddhist discourses, (2) practising what Buddha said and (3) transforming karmic influences through deepening the practice. These actions are called the purification of karmic effects. <br>
