"Rare and Precious Dharma Affinity"
To Most Revered Teacher Lin,
A few days ago, while chatting with a friend, she suddenly asked me: "If this present life were to end tomorrow, what would be your thoughts? Would you have any regrets?"
At that moment, I replied with deep emotion: "Through Teacher’s sequential guidance, I have received rare and precious deliverance and wisdom in this lifetime. For me personally, there are truly no regrets—only boundless gratitude to Teacher. However, my only regret is that I have not yet had time to encourage and introduce more kind and affinity-bound people to join the Starlight Fellowship, so they too can cultivate the Dharma alongside our wonderful Teacher Lin."
I am immensely grateful for such a rare and precious opportunity in this life to meet a wise Teacher who guides us through complete, practical, and sequential Dharma classes—purifying, elevating, and cultivating our souls so that we can ascend to higher heavenly realms in the future and continue advancing on the Bodhi path.
Yesterday, I saw a video on Facebook where a psychiatrist expressed immense recognition and awe toward the concepts of "non-self" (Anatta) and "emptiness" (Sunyata) taught by the Buddha over 2,600 years ago as fundamental solutions to human suffering. Seeing modern science bow to the Dharma immediately reminded me of this past May when, under your meticulous guidance and rigorous verification, I passed the first barrier to enlightenment—feeling the vast, profound emotion of a life reborn!
My standard of Chinese used to be extremely poor, and I never imagined I could understand Buddhist scriptures. I am extraordinarily fortunate to have been patiently guided by you, steadily and sequentially progressing from the Foundation Class and Level 1 courses in the Kajabi Dharma treasure trove all the way to Level 4. You not only systematically teach the methods and practices of various traditions, but also explain the Dharma from basic to advanced levels—explaining the Ksitigarbha Sutra, Lotus Sutra, Diamond Sutra, Avatamsaka Sutra, Vimalakirti Sutra, and even thoroughly analyzing the Surangama Sutra (which dispels delusion and reveals truth) as well as the profoundly deep Lankavatara Sutra. The meanings of these sutras are extremely profound and difficult; it is nearly impossible to find a Master in other centers who can explain them so thoroughly and perfectly. To meet such a wise Teacher and receive these complete, sequential teachings is the most extraordinary Dharma affinity for me and my fellow practitioners.
Years ago, I suffered extortion, slander, bullying, and spiritual attacks from unethical individuals. My physical and mental state completely collapsed, plunging my life into a dark void and resulting in major depression with distress disorder. At that time, doctors could not guarantee I would ever recover. From the experiences of friends and family around us, we were well aware that the recovery rate for such conditions is extremely low. Fortunately, I received timely deliverance and compassionate guidance from you. Through practicing Qi cultivation and meditation, within just one month, my condition improved from being unable to sleep even with medication to sleeping soundly through the night without taking any medicine at all!
Since childhood, I had been frail and frequently ill, and I unfortunately suffered from a severe gynecological condition that modern medical science could not cure. Under your guidance, through reciting sutras to resolve karmic causes and effects and performing the 88 Buddhas Great Repentance, my karmic illness was miraculously cured!
In the past, I had seen many couples at other centers who appeared affectionate in public but had extremely poor relationships in private, which once raised deep doubts in me about practicing Buddhism. Thanks to your sequential and compassionate teachings, my relationships with my husband, child, and family have all transformed. A home that used to argue over trivial matters has now become remarkably warm, harmonious, and joyful.
Riding the Dharma vessel of Qi cultivation, meditation, and repentance practice under your compassionate guidance, I have embarked on a rare and precious journey of "Navigating the Way Back Home."
The grace of deliverance and complete guidance granted by you has allowed me to live a rich, fulfilled life with no regrets—a debt of gratitude that can never be fully repaid. I can only practice diligently, keep your compassionate teachings firmly in mind, and encourage more kind, affinity-bound people to learn the Dharma from you so that everyone can enjoy a prosperous, fulfilled life filled with abundant Dharma joy.
